Welcome to the Woodhall Spa Neighbourhood Development Plan

The 2011 Localism Act has introduced a new right for communities to draw up a Neighbourhood Plan. This new right is aimed at giving local communities genuine opportunities to influence the future of the places where they live.
The Neighbourhood Development Plan is a document that will guide the future development of the village. It is about how we use and develop land and the associated social, economic and environmental issues.
A Neighbourhood Development Plan is a planning document that, when approved, will guide the future development of the area. That means it is about the use and development of land and associated social, economic and environmental issues.

Woodhall Spa is one of many localities that have chosen to develop their own Neighbourhood Plan. The aim of this website is to keep residents and other interested parties up to date and involved with the progress being made in the creation of The Woodhall Spa Neighbourhood Plan.
The links will take you to various pages giving background information on the village and its residents, the Neighbourhood Planning process, the steering group formed to create the plan and copies of the variety of documents relevant to the creation of the Plan.

There are also “Share Your Views” links. For the Neighbourhood Plan to be a success it must reflect the wishes of the majority of the residents of Woodhall Spa and its immediate neighbours when they might be directly affected by decisions taken. It is vital that the Steering group has input from all residents so please use the links to let us have your thoughts and suggestions, feedback on events and publications and any other relevant comments you wish to make.
Thanks for visiting the Woodhall Spa Neighbourhood Development Plan!
